Two people, one small apartment

We met in a study group in our final year and spent eight months pretending the other one was simply very committed to the coursework. Neither of us was. The coursework suffered.

Six years on we are getting married in Cheongdam, on a Saturday morning, with everyone we like in one room for exactly three hours. We would love you to be one of them.

How Saturday runs

11:00

본식 Ceremony

Grand Hall, 4F. Western-style service with a Korean officiant — Jiwon's father is doing the reading and has already rewritten it twice.

12:30

폐백 Paebaek

Family room, 3F. Hanbok, bows, and the chestnut-catching. Immediate family only, but everyone is welcome to watch.

13:00

식사 Banquet

Buffet on 2F, open for two hours. Come whenever suits — nobody is seated in any particular order.

Practical things

Subway

Line 7 to Cheongdam, exit 13. Six minutes on foot, all of it flat.

Parking

Two hours validated in the basement. It fills by 10:30 on a Saturday — the subway really is faster.

축의금

A desk at the entrance for each family, as usual. Please do not feel any obligation.

Photos

Group photographs on stage immediately after the ceremony — friends first, then family. It takes eleven minutes.
