Ceremony at 5pm at Ex Convento de Santa Catalina, dinner and dancing to follow in the cloister.

Late breakfast at the market from 11am. Tlayudas, agua fresca, and a full accounting of the night before.
Fourteen years, one street
We grew up four doors apart on Calle Reforma and did not speak until we were both twenty-six and back home for a funeral. Mateo says he always knew. Lucía has receipts proving otherwise, and will show them to anyone who asks at the reception.

Calenda
A brass band walks us through the streets with monos de calenda. Yes, you are in the parade. No, you cannot sit this one out.
Cena
Mole negro, tlayudas, and mezcal poured by Lucía's uncle, who pours generously.
Baile
Sonidero until 3am. There is a taco cart at midnight for structural support.
